This Regional EASA meeting brings together the progress so far of an urban church in its quest to build a sustainable future for the parish, who have repaired their church building and installed a new biomass central heating system with separate boiler house and pellet store.
There will be an opportunity to see the progress so far as we look around the church and see how it has been changed. Our speakers, many of whom have been involved with the project over the last six years, will include, Jemima Parker the Diocesan Environmental Officer for Leeds DAC; architects Russell Trudgen and Richard Jaques from Arctic Associates Ltd., who were involved with the various phases of work; Sarah Hinton, key fundraiser and stakeholder co-ordinator for the church and her husband Rev Jimmy Hinton, vicar of St Stephen’s church and Archdeacon Andrew Jolly, who has a Diocesan role in supporting and championing urban churches for mission.
To join in this event you will need to have booked a place by Tuesday, 17th September 2019.
There is a small admission charge of £8.00 for EASA Members and Associates and £10.00 for non EASA members.
Payment can be made on the day, by cash or cheque made payable to “EASA”, or by electronic means using details that will be provided once you have booked a place with Arctic Associates.
